Mohammed Dahlan's faction to run with Hamas and Islamic Jihad on list for legislative elections The former leader of Fatah in Gaza has announced his faction will join with Hamas and Islamic Jihad in an electoral list for upcoming legislative elections for the Palestinian Authority. Palestinian officials told the Associated Press that Mohammed Dahlan, a businessman with close ties to the UAE, would be part of a “a unified national list” with the two other Gaza groups in an apparent attempt to form a joint opposition to PA President Mahmoud Abbas.
