Sughra Imam active after a long break

TOBA TEK SINGH: Former provincial minister and ex-Senator Syeda Sughra Imam has become active in politics with an aim to contest the next general election from her native constituency in Jhang. It is expected that she will contest against her relative, former federal minister Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, who remained runner up in 2024 from NA-108, Jhang. He was defeated by PTI-backed Sahibzada Mahboob Sultan. Sughra Imam is the daughter of renowned politicians Syeda Abida Hussain and Syed Fakhar Imam.
