Argentina will host new US regional unit to fight drug trafficking
The United States created a regional unit based in Argentina to fight drug trafficking and organized crime, Argentine Security Minister Alejandra Monteoliva announced Monday. The unit falls under the purview of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
