PTI long march: CM Afridi-led convoy camps in Mattani for the night, heads to Khyber next
PESHAWAR: The PTI convoy led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on Tuesday reached Mattani, located on the outskirts of Peshawar — its latest stopover in the party’s long march to demand the release of jailed party founder and ex-prime minister Imran Khan. PTI Information Deputy Secretary in KP Ikram Khatana told Dawn that the protesters, who set out from Kohat earlier in the day, would spend the night in Mattani. “They will leave for Khyber at 2pm tomorrow,” he said.
