Pakistan Army deployed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in aid of civil power
ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Sunday authorised the deployment of Pakistan Army troops and assets in aid of civil power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after the imposition of an emergency and governor’s rule in the province. The measures, imposed earlier, have been approved under Articles 232 and 234 of the Constitution, according to a statement by the President House. They were imposed following the president’s approval of the recommendations by the federal cabinet.
