Malaysia welcomes Jordan's king for two-day visit A ceremonial welcome for Jordan’s King Abdullah II was held on Monday, as his two-day visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations began. He was greeted by Malaysia’s King Sultan Ibrahim at the Istana Negara royal palace, with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in attendance. This marks his second visit to the south east asian country, with his first in May 2008.
