PM Shehbaz reaches Peshawar in first visit after imposition of governor's rule

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached Peshawar on Thursday on his first visit to the province since governor’s rule and emergency were imposed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on October 11, according to sources in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). PM Shehbaz is expected to chair the apex committee on terrorism during his visit, PMO sources said. KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, along with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, chaired a meeting of the apex committee a day after governor’s rule was imposed.
