Dar meets Turkish, Egyptian FMs on sidelines of R-4 bloc, European diplomats’ meetings

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, on the sidelines of a meeting of R-4 foreign ministers and a meeting between the R-4 and European diplomats in Istanbul, the Foreign Office (FO) said. The R-4 group, comprising Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye, emerged in March and has been focusing on regional security and mediation efforts between the United States and Iran.
