New IO given 10 days to complete Mir Raza murder probe

KARACHI: A judicial magistrate on Tuesday granted an additional 10 days to the newly appointed investigation officer (IO) to complete the probe into the Mir Raza murder case. A day earlier, the court had issued a show-cause notice to the head of the joint investigation team (JIT), police officer Irfan Baloch, and sought his response over the police failure to submit the final charge sheet in the case.
