Israeli military operations across the Gaza Strip have led to multiple civilian casualties in recent days, according to Palestinian sources and local media. In northern Gaza, an Israeli quadcopter drone shot and killed forty-year-old Hatem Khalil Abu Hasanein in the al-Tawam district, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. Further strikes across Gaza City that evening struck a gathering in the al-Nasr neighbourhood, leaving one person dead and several others injured.20
The latest fatal drone attack follows repeated bombardments in and around Gaza City. Earlier reports noted an air strike on an apartment that killed a Palestinian woman and ignited a blaze from which her young daughter was rescued. Additionally, an Israeli combat drone hit a tent housing displaced people in the western al-Rimal district, wounding several individuals who required treatment at al-Shifa Hospital.13,19
