Federal govt authorises army deployment in KP in aid of civil power

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on authorised the deployment of Pakistan Army troops and assets in aid of civil power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for security, after the federal government imposed an emergency and governor’s rule in the province. The measures, imposed earlier, have been approved under Articles 232 and 234 of the Constitution, according to a statement by the President House.
